the February
meeting, members gathered at Leckler's John Deere lawn
tractor business. They learned about the company history from the
owner, Pat Leckler. Member Joshua Smith (left) is shown with a

At the March
meeting, members made a plan for restoration of two John Deere lawn
tractors to be sold as a club money making project. |
At the April member meeting, Nancy Thelan--Washtenaw
County Extension Director--gave a visual presentation about the services
offered by the Extension. Members learned something new and talked
to club friends. |
At the May
meeting, members enjoyed viewing Pat (pictured
above) and Mike
Holder's Museum of John Deere and other collectables in Owasso,
Michigan. |
  
On July 4, members
participated in the Ypsilanti, MI parade. |

During July
14 and 15, members participated in the "Tractors
at the Tavern Show" at the
Walker Tavern Historical Site at Brooklyn Michigan.

In
August, members shared a potluck and viewed the John Deere collections
of the Beaubiens at their home in Newport, MI. |
At the October Halloween party located at Don Hasselbach's
home, members had a potluck, viewed a bonfire, children carved pumpkins
and had hay rides.

At the
November
Meeting, members saw friends, enjoyed
a soup supper, heard the latest
club news, bought Xmas
Party tickets, brought
donations for needy families, brought items for
the Xmas Party Auction.

At
the December Xmas Party, members saw friends, enjoyed
a potluck dinner and auction. Also, Santa made a special
appearance. |
